Five Year Guarantee
STM Industries guarantees our products for five years for workmanship. In addition, the two-part catalyzed polyurethane paint we use is guaranteed not to crack, peel or fade for five years.
We improved our process after experience in the field showed that umbrellas colored only with a gelcoat colorant faded with constant exposure to sunlight and extreme weather conditions. This was particularly apparent with our most popular color - bright red. Now all our products are painted with a US manufactured paint that is guaranteed not to CRACK, PEEL or FADE for a full five years, although with proper maintenance they may last years longer. An STM Industries umbrella is a worry free purchase that does not require constant replacement.
Delivery
At STM Industries, we take pride in working to ensure the highest level of service. We specially pack and wrap your order on custom pallets to protect your investment during the shipping process.
All of our products are shipped FOB Oldsmar, FL. Typically we use FedEx Freight or FedEx National LTL depending on the destination because of our combined excellent delivery record.
Items shipped will be delivered to the curb at your address. The driver is not responsible for unloading your products from his truck. Your location must be accessible to a large tractor trailer truck. If it is not, you must notify us at the time of order placement and we will try to make the appropriate arrangements.
The following services incur an extra charge:
- Residential delivery
- Lift gate
- Restricted Access (e.g. construction site, school or military installation)
Damaged Goods - please immediately note any freight damage to the box, pallet or umbrella on the freight bill. Request a signed receipt from the driver. Open and inspect your packages immediately and notify us of any concealed damage that you wish to claim. If you have a camera at hand, please take pictures of the damage. We will work expediently with you to replace or repair any damage. Pictures and documentation will streamline the process.
Return Policy
Products sold by STM Industries are custom made to order specifications. All color choices are final. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization from STM Industries. Returns for issues with color are subject to a $150 restocking fee per unit. Manufacturer defects are covered under our guarantee for workmanship. Freight damage is covered under a freight claim with the appropriate carrier. Please note that the original and return shipping and handling charges will NOT be refunded or reimbursed under any circumstances.
